Detailed Tier Specifications

1. Free Tier

The Free tier is enabled automatically whenever no license key is present or after a temporary key expires.

• Allows full evaluation of Zenborg on real codebases.
• Limited to 1 project directory at a time.
• Limited to 1 active loop and 1 automated browser tab.
• Agent Power is locked to Low to preserve machine resources.

2. Public Beta Tier

During the public beta, developers who register at zenborg.com receive a beta key starting with ZB1….

• Unlocks full Pro tier entitlements at zero cost.

• Expiration Date: Configured in internal build parameters:

  2026-11-30T23:59:59.000Z (November 30, 2026).

• When the beta period closes, installs revert to the Free tier unless upgraded.

3. Paid Subscriptions (Monthly & Annual)

• Unlocks all Pro features.
• Keys are cryptographically signed using Ed25519 signatures and verified offline by Zenborg.
• Subscription Grace Period: Subscriptions include a 3-day grace period (SUBSCRIPTION_GRACE_MS = 3 * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000). If your network is disconnected during renewal, your Pro features remain active for 3 full days after the billing expiration timestamp.

4. Lifetime License Rules

A Lifetime license provides perpetual access to the software.

• The key contains an updatesUntil timestamp indicating the end of the included software update period.
• Maintenance Rule: Zenborg compares the executable’s build date (buildDate()) against the key’s updatesUntil date.
• Any Zenborg version built on or before your updatesUntil date remains fully unlocked forever, even years after your update window closes.

Entering and Managing License Keys

1. Open the Settings dialog (#settingsDialog).
2. Paste your key into #settingsLicenceKeyInput.
3. Click "Enter licence key".
4. The key is verified locally and stored with restricted permissions in your local data directory.

[!NOTE] To remove a key, press and hold the button labeled "Remove key" for 1.2 seconds.
